The Global RallyCross season is in high gear! Last Saturday, Bluebeam held a special event at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon for the Sylvania SilverStar zXe Global RallyCross Championships. Bluebeamers, Bluebeam customers, and family mixed and mingled while enjoying the races that included a lot of excitement, contact and near misses among the racers. While our rally car driver, Topi Heikkeinen, was unable to compete as he is recovering from injuries, he was with us in spirit as we enjoyed a thrilling day of rally racing. Here are some of the sights from the event:
The course for the race was nearly one mile long and featured a 70-foot gap jump and a table-top jump. Many of the racers commented that this was the best out of the three tracks provided by Speedway Motorsports, Inc. so far this season. In the end, Travis Pastrana found some luck and walked away with the win.
In addition to watching the races, the Bluebeam crew was also treated to a behind-the-scenes meet and great with the Ford/OMSE rally team.
